Vlog - intense underdog & Lift More; Chest workout For the past two weeks, I’ve integrated some strength training into my routine to do something different and become stronger. The reason is, if I'm stronger when I return to a full hypertrophy workout, I will be able to take heavier weight and indirectly stress my muscles more to grow. It's temporary, but I will benefit from it in the future. When you lift crazy-heavy weight, it will help to reinforce your bone, joints and muscles because you give a signal to your nervous system to become stronger in these areas in order to be able to face that kind of situation in the future. Remember, the form is still the most important thing to focus on, because when you master it, you can upgrade the weight and intensity. Here’s the workout I did this morning for my chest and calves:
