Hello Marc, following up on the user just below me – I don’t cook my oats, i just pop them, and all of the ingredients into a blender and mix it up (w/ cold water). Does the hot water or help the oats absorb into the body or is it OK to stick with my routine? Thanks!

Hey man i see your using a 40/40/20 split pretty much give or take a couple. do you recomend this for everyone?

    • Marc_Fitt says:

It will depend on your overall calories intake (so depending of your weight, age, height and number of day you workout). Because like 40% of 4000 calories in protein is way too much. I stay always between 230-280g of protein usually because my body can assimilate around 30-40g per meal on 7 meals :P I hope it help you figure it out.

      • Dustin Swan says:

Yah I get it. I feel like maybe I’m sensitive to carbs. I’ve never really found the right split. When I was cuttin I dropped my carbs to 100g but after about 2 weeks I was so fucking tired. I couldn’t even workout.

    Hey Marc,

    Great video!!

I want to make a little diet to lose fat, too. Is it a good idea to go on “non-training days” low carb and stay on “workout days” high carb? Is this a good solution or is a strict diet better?

    Regards from germany:)

    • Marc_Fitt says:

Hi Marc, it’s suppose to be like that:P You should always drop a little bit your calories when you are not training (about 500-1000) since you will skip your post-workout shake and change your pre-workout meal. Going on a deficit calories on training day and non-training day is better for cutting. I hope it help you my man.

@Marc_Fitt:disqus Hi marc, you mentioned in the video that you were going to “carb up” before the BodyPower in the UK so you will look great. But why is that? can you tell me why you do that and what the effect is of eating a lot of carbs before entering your plane?

    • Marc_Fitt says:

Because now I dropped my carbs, I empty my glycogen level my muscles so I look flat. Your muscles are mainly fill with carbs so I will look bigger and full instead of flat. Especially when you go from low carbs to high carbs. I hope this helped you out.
