What It Takes

Hey [MM_Member_Data name=’firstName’] , I’m sure you’ve asked yourself many times, What do I need to do to be successful? What are people doing that have more success than me? Can I do it? If I make it, how I will be able to stay there? Is it luck?

All of these questions are a part of the normal process of becoming more. But too many people stay there and are afraid of what success will look like, or, more often, are afraid to fail at it.

But if we look at it at another point of view, how can you fail at something before even trying? For me, that’s the real failure. I think that’s what makes the big difference between saying nothing about somebody else, and simply looking at someone and saying, “Damn, that guy has such an impact on others,” “He’s so much more,” “He’s a beast,” etc.

Basically, the main difference is not the skills, not the potential, intelligence or whatever that person is good at it. It’s the action he will take using these assets. It’s the actions he will take, day by day, because he’s afraid of more.

And you might be thinking now, “Marc, you just said that you shouldn’t be afraid!”

Everyone has a fear of something, and that’s a good thing because fear will push us further if we use it in the right way. What I fear the most is not trying and failing, but rather the opposite — not trying to create the world that I have in my mind, and what I have in my imagination.

I’m a big believer that you have to create what you envision in the world to feel happiness and fulfillment. If your expectations match your results you will feel incredible. And the process to reach a goal is even greater after a couple of times you’ve achieved great things, because you start to understand what you need to do to get it.

I know it sounds easy, but I guarantee you will struggle during the process because of all the obstacles you will face, and all the pressure of people who will try to put you down because they don’t believe they can do it, so in their mind, you can’t.

“Your imagination is like a boat and you are in control of it. Hold onto the helm of your ship because this world is full of big waves and you can sink at any moment if you are not fighting to go to your destination”. — Marc Fitt

So, what’s it take?

•The courage to start
•The fortitude to grind every day — inspire yourself every morning, night, and whenever else you have to
•Keep your faith alive
•Follow your vision and positivism, not the negativism of your peers
•Make a plan of action (the big picture of how to reach it)
•Plan your day with tasks that will bring you closer to what you want to achieve
•Stay focused
•Study people who have success and learn from them, especially the ones who have reached what you want

I could write an entire book on this subject, but I think this letter should help you start and awaken you to your dream, [MM_Member_Data name=’firstName’].

I used to live a very active social life two years ago which now doesn’t exist. Reading this has inspired me to get up and reinvent myself to hopefully become someone to inspire others, just like yourself. Big changes and big things are going to happen, believe me! I will overcome every obstacle that comes my way.
