Experimental Post – Food for Thought 01

Experimental post: I recorded myself while writing this blog post. I just went with the flow and wrote whatever I had in mind. Let me know what you think of it, because it’s pretty different, but at least you can read the post as I was writing it with the kind of music I was listening to!

Hi [MM_Member_Data name=’firstname’],

This is the first post of it’s kind, and I’m super excited! Food for Thought is a new kind of blog post where I’ll share everything that’s going on in my mind, or what I experience. As you might know, I’m quite young and I’ve had my fair share of experiences in my life. Some people say success, but I really don’t like saying that word, because really though, what is success?

How can we measure it? How can we define it? Is it universal? What the fuck does success even mean?

I don’t know…

However, what I do know is, I try to find my inner peace. I try to be the best that I can and learn from everything that happens to me and to the people around me. Will we find the perfect answer to it? I don’t think so, because we all start from different points. We all have different opinions and goals.

But Marc, where are you going with all of this?

The answer is, I don’t know. Nothing is certain, and I don’t think too much about it. I do what feels right to me right now and what I think is good for me, and I think you should do the same on your side.

What I do know and I am sure of is:

You and I will die.

This is deep. It’s sad and unfortunate that we have an end-time, but it’s also magical in the sense that we have a limited time to do whatever we want. So I do think we have to go after what we want the most right now.

Over the years, I’ve learned so many things, like:

If you do nothing, than you cannot have anything (a lot of people sit around and expect results).

If you’re cocky about what you have, life will slap you in the face and show you that it can take back everything you think you’ve got.

Controlling our thoughts is our biggest asset to feel happy. When something goes wrong, or a certain situation is awry, we have to step out of that negativity and realize the change that has to happen to feel great again.

I learned that the more you share your knowlege and what you experience, the more connections and positive vibes you’ll bring to yourself.

I learned that money is nothing, whether a piece of paper or a coin, but you still need it to be free. Money = freedom.

I learned that you can make money by helping others, I learned that you can use negative energy and transform it into something positive.

I learned a bunch of stuff in some incredibly ugly moments. In fact, I made all those mistakes and learned from them.

What did you learn in the last 3 years? That’s my question!

Too many just survive in their life. Too many just move around and don’t even think! Are you aware of who you are, what you will become and where you are in the world?

Are you you?

Are you the person you want to be?

Are you good for people around you, or do you bring them down with your sadness?

These are the kinds of questions I’ve asked myself.

I started Food for Thought strong, I think. Real deep. But that’s me. I’m weird, I’m thoughtful, I like seeing things, and asking myself why things are the way they are, because one day I will die. It’s unpredictable, but I hope to leave something behind, to maybe help a couple of people with what I experienced so the person after me can save time in their life and experience what’s next.

I hope you have enjoyed Food for Thought 01.

Thanks for reading!

Yours truly,

Marc

I got so much from this Marc, it inspired me to do my own writing here on New Years Eve, just some thoughts that create a positive bridge between past and future, and the enormity of what we can accomplish. The real magic is in what we share with each other and in turn, become stronger through it. Happy New Year to you and Cat!

Marc, thank you for being so real and honest. Your sincerity, hard work ethic and love for people are evident in all you do and I really appreciate that about you. So I simply want to share with you and others the faith, hope and love that my relationship with Jesus Christ has given me. See, the Bible says that we can have the hope of eternal life. Death does not have to be the end. Yes, “the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 3:23) “For God so loved the World, that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) Jesus lived the perfect life on our behalf and then willingly died on the cross, taking the punishment that we deserve. He then rose from the dead in victory over sin, death, and the grave! As we simply trust in Him as our Lord and Savior, asking Him to forgive us of our sins and receiving his free gift of eternal life and a personal relationship with Him we can know our true meaning and purpose in this life and have the assurance of life eternal! God created us for an intimate and loving relationship with Himself, but our sin separated us from God. Therefore, God made the only way to bridge that gap and it is through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father but by me.” Right now you can simply pray a prayer of your own something like this, “Dear God, I admit to you that I am a sinner. Please forgive me of my sin. I believe that Jesus is Your Son, that He died on the cross, taking the just penalty for my sin and that He rose again from the grave. Right now I receive Him as my Lord and Savior and your free gift of eternal life. Please come into my life and make me the person you created me to be. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus name, amen.

Really intersting how I feel after reading this. You know your are like the brother I always wanted to have. But when I look at you and your work, I know who I want to be. I don’t wanna die et be no one. I want to fight and creates a lot of things as you do because this is really the way I see the life. I want to share the same message but for the moment I’m no one. Who’s gonna listen to me ? I just started my french youtube channel but I don’t wanna be lucky, I want to create that luck. Be proud of you Marc, one day I’ll be proud of me.

Marc, I’m loving the Food for Thought vlog. Just a suggestion. It would be cool if you showed in the video exactly what you’re writing. Kind of like a music lyric video would look like. Instead of just watching a video of you typing ;-) Keep it up. I’m enjoying seeing all the improvements to the site.

Great Feedback! Yes the video was more for music background during the reading haha. I can definitely change the angle of what I record, etc.

I am glad you enjoyed it :)
