Citrus and water — your best friends
We’ve covered some of the best foods that everyone should include in their diet (here) before, but today we’re going to delve into something a little more specific. Actually, two things — one of which may come as a surprise. If you aren’t already aware, water is without a doubt one of the best things you can put into your body. It’s literally the source of all life on our planet and it’s benefits are innumerous. If you’re looking to lose weight, drink water. If you’re looking to build muscle, drink water. If you want to work out harder and longer, drink water. If you want to just feel better, drink water. You won’t want to miss out on the plethora of benefits that consuming more citrus will bring either. For starters, consuming more citrus fruits can help in warding off type 2 diabetes, cancer, and stroke! It doesn’t stop there, though. Citrus fruits are famous for their richness in vitamin C, which is filled with its own health merits. They say that stress is related to 99% of all illnesses, and vitamin C is looking to change that. It not only helps to reduce stress, but also strengthen your immune system.…

How to change up your training
One of the key principles to experiencing continual growth in your workouts is, as you know, to change things up. Never get stuck in the same routine, or you’ll fall into a plateau. Yes, the best way to keep your body guessing is by introducing different exercises. However, providing it with different techniques in which you do these exercises is also a sure-fire way to keep your body in adaptation mode. Below, we’ll illustrate some of the most effective methods for continual growth.Single set. The most common method. This is an exercise, performed by itself. Example: A set of bicep curls. Super set. This is 2 exercises performed back-to-back, without rest. Example: A set of bicep curls, followed by a set of hammer curls. Giant set. This is 3–4 exercises performed back-to-back without rest. Omega-3 fatty acids
Omega-3 fatty acids are one of the most unsung heroes of any mainstream nutrition advice. They’re incredibly beneficial to the human body, and are absolutely necessary for certain functions (that’s why they’re called “essential”). What’s funny is, though, is that the body is unable to create this important fat itself. That’s why it’s important to include foods with omega-3s in your diet. There are plenty of foods containing omega-3s (most commonly fish). However, there are some foods, like certain pastas and breads, that have been enhanced with the benefits of omega-3s too.Why would you want to include this polyunsaturated fatty acid in your diet? Well, they’re essential for a ton of bodily functions, but also are full of health benefits as well. These include: improved artery health, cholesterol, and lung health. support for mental, joint, and bone health. decreased chance of cancer (colon, breast and prostate). enhanced mood, promote weight loss, and help to protect vision. For those of you who are looking to build muscle, it’s been suggested that fish oils support protein synthesis in muscles, and help reduce muscle breakdown! Don’t sweat it too much if you’re having trouble fitting in foods teeming with omega-3s. These days it’s…
